The Region of Crete and the Municipality of Heraklion are organizing a retrospective art exhibition of the works of painter Nikos Moschos titled “Marginally human” at the Municipal Art Gallery of Heraklion/Basilica of Saint Mark. The inauguration of the exhibition will take place on Friday 12 July 2019, at 19:00.
The duration of the exhibition will be from 12 July until 29 August.
The exhibition will include works created from 2012 until 2019 which are parts of both Greek and foreign collections, while at the same time, new works will be presented for the first time.
Within the context of the exhibition, a catalogue of the works will be released containing essays by the art historian Christophoros Marinos and Professor Emeritus of Classical Archaeology James Wright.
The exhibition will be open to the public every day, from Monday to Friday 09:00-14:00 and 17:00-21:00. On Saturdays 09:00-14:00 and on Sundays it will remain closed.
